Community Health Workers Review Board

The Illinois CHW Certification Program seeks to create a voluntary CHW certification to advance and sustain the CHW workforce in Illinois. The Community Health Workers Review Board, which first convened in 2022, provides guidance and recommendations to IDPH in the development of this program.
